Last year, we announced that Invoke was selected as a finalist, and went on to win, CNMA’s Best Use of Social Media category, which recognized HootSuite as a social media success.

Now, in 2010, it’s time again for submissions to this prestigious award, during its 10th year running. The Canadian New Media Awards are Canada’s leading digital media awards — the only nationwide competition that recognizes the most successful digital media companies in Canada. This year, new categories have emerged, including Community Campaign of the Year and Digital Media Technology of the Year. This year’s awards will be presented as part of nextMEDIA Toronto, Canada’s leading digital media production and marketplace, on December 1st.

Our own Dario Meli will be Jury Host for the Best Use of Social Media category, helping to recruit social media experts and help judge entries to find those that demonstrate excellent use of social media for business, arts or community organizations. Judging criteria include impact, visual design, usability and revenue generation.
