Last week, Invoke was featured in a CBC segment profiling the impact social media has had at the 2010 Olympic Games, and the role it is predicted to play in the upcoming 2012 Olympic games in London. The CBC segment featured our video conversation tool, Vidrollr, the freshest social web application out of the Invoke laboratory since HootSuite.

We imagine it looks a lot like Twitter did at around 1:56pm on May 7th, 2009 when it was discovered that Jane Sterk, Leader of the BC Green Party, had responded to questions posed by prominent Vancouver blogger, Rebecca Bollwitt (Miss 604), with copy-and-paste excerpts from the British Columbia Green Book—on the threshold of a provincial election.

First Ideas On Tap

Ideas on Tap is a business networking event for tech professionals in Vancouver as well as internet advertisers, social media marketers, bloggers, video game developers and other fans of the tech community. Ideas on Tap was a Vancouver tech event that was started in 1999. At some point, the events stopped, but the people over at 6S Marketing had the brilliant idea of bringing it back to life.
