tagga is a recently launched Vancouver startup that is poised to take on the competitive SMS industry. tagga is a mobile bookmarking platform that lets anyone tag real world items and web snippets to their mobile phone. To promote their launch, tagga approached Invoke looking for a new way to promote their startup online. The social media team at Invoke put our heads together and developed a fun and creative social media campaign for tagga.

The first campaign element that we developed was a Claytorial video - Claytorial is the latest release from Invoke Labs, following in the successful footsteps of memelabs and EATS. With the Claytorial video, we were able to relay what tagga does in a easy to understand and fun video.

We followed this with a successful blogger outreach campaign that saw tagga featured in both Tech Crunch and Mashable on the day of their launch. This campaign is still on going and we’ve gotten tagga some great press in some awesome blogs.

The final installment of their social media campaign is still in the works, as we prepare to head down to blogworld with tagga and run some fun events. The events are a suprise that we’ll be unveiling at the event. To get in on the blogworld fun, follow @tagga on twitter and text ‘tagga’ to 82442 to get mobile updates on the events as they occur.

To find out more about tagga, check out their blog. Or you can read my coverage of their launch here.
