Social Media Marketing slash Campaign Assistant – now that’s a mouthful! It’s also my new job title here at Invoke. Chello, my name is Kate LeGresley and what an amazing position I am in.

Being an assistant is my forte. An assistant is one who assists; a person who contributes to the fulfillment of a need or furtherance of an effort or purpose. I’m a team player and I’ll be doing my very best here for Invoke.

Fortunately for me Social Media Marketing is a relatively new and completely fascinating field. It goes beyond Facebook (ps I <3 Facebook), it combines the goals of Internet Marketing with social networking sites (such as Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, digg). It leverages aspects of viral marketing to build brand awareness for different companies. Exact goals for each campaign will be varied in accordance to each business that engages in Social Media Marketing.

Already I’m learning more than I ever thought, and this is my second day… Right now I’m focused on Tagga, Claytorial, VIP Mountain Holidays, and a bunch more clients that I’m not involved with yet.
