It’s official, Canada will be getting the iPhone this year. This release has been confirmed by Rogers Wireless, the company that will be carrying the iPhone. Rogers chief executive Ted Rogers said that “We’re thrilled to announce that we have a deal with Apple to bring the iPhone to Canada later this year…We can’t tell you any more about it right now, but stay tuned.”

We consume vast amounts of beverages at the Invoke office, the majority of which probably have almost unsafe levels of caffeine in them. The funds raised through Celebs for Kids provide support for the Ross Petty Research Chair in Paediatric Rheumatology, which is leading the way in research into rhumatic diseases of childhood…

The Invoke site redesign has been in the works for a long time. And I have to say, in my opinion, its been worth the wait, I love what the team has come up with!!

I want to send out a special thanks to some of the talented designers and developers that we’ve had work on our site. Our lead designer Paul Donnelly did the website design and all of the awesome flash pieces that we’ve included in the site. Eric Puchmayr is responsible for the front end development and testing and James Wilson, for creating our hot new logo.

Invoke Media has just launched a new Facebook application for memelabs- memelabs is a user generated video contest platform. They wanted a facebook application that would allow them to integrate their contest platform with Facebook. The application that was developed allows users to watch and vote for videos that have been submitted to one of the memelabs contests.
