Free Google Urchin Installation

Reciprocal linking (exchanging a link from another site to your site) has recently been depreciated in the latest Google update titled Jagger. This is likely to depreciate the effect of sites that massively spam directories to get an enormous amount of links in order to increase perceived popularity by Google. One way links (links that go to your site and you don’t link back) have not been as depreciated with this update.

Google Patenting Classified System

According to Internetnews.com, Google has actually applied for a patent on how its online classified system will work. This eliminates any thought that this service was merely a rumor.

Analyst John Zappe discovered the patent application, which includes screen shots for Google Purchases and Classifieds.Google.com, as well as an interface for posting classified ads.
