Beauty and The Blog Beast

I don’t need much more than a glass of wine for stories to just roll out of me as if they are just all lined up on the back of my tongue just waiting for the red flag. This holds relatively true for sitting down and writing. Small things will not distract me- often I need them to keep me focussed. Nails being filed becomes my lullaby, ticking fans my zen and the constant tapping of someone’s pen on a desk is a tropical breeze of focus.
But as I write this, and this will be updated with pictures, my mouth is swollen like a Culkin kid. I look like the cat lady. You know the look. The ladies of the LA strip, sucked on a curling iron, pumped to the tits kind of look.I have become my first distraction and I am gorgeous.
Productivity levels must plummet once someone gets plastic surgery. There is no way that with these lips I’ll be able to sit and write for any longer than 5 minutes before getting up to take a peek at the allergic reaction which transformed me into a European dream. It’s not unheard of to say that more attractive people will go further, get the hire, and get ahead. But maybe there should be a disclaimer: It should be people who have been graced with beauty off the top. Anything new is a distraction. This is something that no nail files, fans or tapping pens could remedy.
