Volkswagen's UGC Contest & Social Media Youth Study

A new international study just came out last week – “MePublic – A Global Study on Social Media Youth” – by Volkswagen and MTV Networks (in Germany). Focusing on millennials, aged 14 to 29, the study looks at the media behaviors and value ethics as they relate to social media.

Step Up and Get Schooled!

Voluntourism as a trend – why more travellers are giving back on vacation

By volunteering, or ‘voluntouring’, I learnt more about Morocco and its citizens than I could have ever learnt travelling the country by myself. Voluntouring is for all ages and can be for any length of time. For myself, the ideal length would be three to four weeks.

Urbanworld Digital Conference Takeaways

This Wednesday, Invoke sponsored and attended the Urbanworld Digital conference, a half-day program packed with speakers from HBO, MTV, Screen Actors Guild and major video game developer NamcoBandai. The sessions were a series of case studies and practical how-to’s for filmmakers wanted to work with digital agents, producers and other players in the field, as well as what kinds of creative ideas they are looking for.
